This term we will be learning about toys past and present. We will be creating a toy museum using toys from home and looking at how toys have changed from the past to now!

Class 7 had a wonderful term learning about toys!

In history we discovered what toys from the past looked like and how you played with them. We talked about how they were different from the toys we have today and we learnt how to be good at sorting old and new toys according to what they were made of, the technology used and even the type of smells they had!

During literacy we read some great books this term but Mrs Perry's favourite was Knuffle Bunny. We learnt how to improve our writing and showed our improvements through The Big Write on Fridays. Come and read our writing on our Hulk display in our classroom, it really is FANTASTIC!

In maths it has been a very busy term, we have covered so much including adding, subtracting, dividing and multiplying, we have even managed to fit in some problem solving using toys! Ask your children all about their strategies and see if you can solve some of their maths problem questions.
