Shears Green Infant School is part of the Hornchurch Academy. 

Hornchurch Academy Trust (HAT) is committed to improving the educational outcomes, personal development and life chances of all children.  The HAT approach is based in true collaboration by sharing excellence and transmitting best practice that makes all schools more effective.  Schools within the Trust have a collective responsibility to all children regardless of which school they attend within the Trust.  It is these core principles that make me very proud to lead Hornchurch Academy Trust as CEO.

Hornchurch Academy Trust schools have a unique connection that allow us to raise standards, performance and outcomes in a transformational and sustainable manner whilst remaining accountable to each other.  We have a consistency in our approaches, however also clearly retain and embrace the unique characteristics of each school.

The Trust is primary phase focused and currently consists of six schools and one nursery.  The schools within the Trust are:
